Tasting - Vigna Lenuzza

Name: Vigna Lenuzza
Variety: Refosco
Region: Friuli Colli Orientali
Country: Italy
Year: 2011
Price: $15
Winery review: Classic varietal notes of wild herbs, roasted coffee beans, leather and spices deep ruby hues while on the palate sweet spiced notes of cinnamon and cardamom, held together with lively acidity and graceful tannins.
My review: This fine wine starts off with a scent that made it seem deep, dark, earthy, and hints of chocolate. Apon tasting the wine I got a dry chocolate taste with hints of some kind of earthy things mixed in. This was a pretty enjoyable wine so I thought about getting this especially because it was pretty cheap with the sale.

I did not have this with food.
