Variety: "Old vines" Garnacha
Region: Campo de Borja
Country: Spain
Year: 2017
Price: $9.95
Winery review: This wine's bright raspberry and plum aromas are typical of Garnacha. Its fresh, racy palate isn't heavily structured, offering a lovely mix of plum, oak and chocolate flavors.
My review: The smell was pretty deep with the scents of velvet, earth, and leather. The taste was of oak, coco, and cassias. It was smooth throughout with a earthy aftertaste. It was mildly dry. It was OK, but I didn't get too much out of it. I could drink this if I wanted to have something kinda slow to drink, but rn I'm not looking for that. I can just drink some whiskey and have a better time.
I did not have this with food.
